Title: Disable SMTP checking

I try to connect my email provider with email management software but I get an error "Connection closed".

I read that one issue might be because of antivirus software and it is suggested to disable Antivirus software's SMTP checking. That might solve the problem.

How to disable SMTP checking in Avast Free Antivirus?

Hi,

You can try to disable "Scan outbound emails (SMTP)"
