Post by: Ruslan S. on June 13, 2022, 08:15:23 PM
Hello everyone,

We’re pleased to announce that we have released a new version of Avast Secure Browser (ASB) for Windows - version 102.0.

In this release we focused on 32 security fixes and improvements that help with the optimization of the browser, such as autofill, changes in URL parameters to ensure anonymity, redesign of browser downloads and many other key usability areas, as well as some improvements to our  products (https://www.avast.com/secure-browser).

Watch out for upcoming Avast Secure Browser blog posts (https://blog.avast.com/en/secure-browser/) about new features.

How to get this latest version
If you have ASB already installed, it should be updated automatically (feel free to visit ‘secure://settings/help’ to trigger an update faster)
Alternatively, you can download and install ASB from our official site:

We hope you enjoy the changes we have made, and as always we would love to hear your feedback. Please try our Browser also on your other devices. I updated to this new version of the Avast Browser and I am having problems.

When I log into Office.com and use Teams, my camera and microphone will not come on.

When I log into AWS to get remote access, I can't log in.

I switched to Google Chrome and everything worked fine.

Is there a way to go to the previous version?  Or should I just make Google Chrome my default browser?

The main bug - the web pages are often broken - is still not fixed. Uschovna.cz is reliable test case, but all pages do it every now and then.
