Title: Email server being blocked by Avast
Post by: knitter.noxious05 on June 23, 2022, 03:33:34 AM
We use an email service provider for our list called Active Campaign. Avast blocks this and reports it as dangerous, but this is inaccurate. I have reported it to the provider, but need to report it to someone at Avast. Avast should make it more transparent where their block list originates and way to clear a block that is incorrect.

Text displayed by Avast Free Antivirus:

Whew! We've just saved you from an infected website
Infected URL: https://bodyecology.lt.acemlnc.com/Prod/link-tracker
Threat: URL:Blacklist
This URL contains malicious code that could harm your computer.
If you're willing to risk it, you can turn off your Avast Web Shield to continue.
But we strongly recommend walking away from this one.

Hi,

Please report it via https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php so our virus lab team can look into it.
