Title: Adding exception to Avast Phishing list
Post by: bluemoon2 on June 28, 2022, 06:47:13 PM
All of a sudden Avast just started classifying my webmail server as phishing. I checked with the provider and they haven't made any changes and aren't having any other issues. I don't have the time to wade through pages of support articles so can someone please just tell me how to add a domain to an exception list so I don't have to keep Avast turned off in order to access my email? Makes it kind of useless if I can't use it.

Thanks,

Gary

It is somewhat difficult to investigate when you don't give the site/url (don't post the http/s, www dot URL prefix) so it isn't active and someone can try to check it out.

You can also use https://www.virustotal.com to check the domain/url - enter the URL/domain name/IP address and check it out and post the link of the virustotal results page.
