Title: Brute Force Attack from my other computer on network
Post by: apprtech on July 05, 2022, 04:52:40 PM
I have two computers on the network, I have them setup correctly but my secondary computer keeps registering Brute Force Attack from my primary computer. Both are running Avast products, and I was told to go in and put in my IP address in the primary computer as a safe IP address/computer and I did, however it still is registering as a brute force attack when I try to access that computers files from my primary computer. I end up having to disable the software for me to send files back and forth. What am I doing wrong?

Did this ever get resolved?

I have exactly the same issue and have also added the secondary PC to the Primary's exclusions list.
