Windows Release 22.6 : late July 2022 (Avast Business Antivirus 22.5 was skipped)
Release Summary
This release contains new improvements and bug fixes to our Avast Business Antivirus client.
The new version of Avast Business Antivirus will be available for new installations immediately. All existing devices will start the automatic upgrade to this version at a later time.
If you wish to upgrade your devices to this version prior to the automatic upgrade, you can create a new Task (Update device – Program update task) from your console.
A system reboot will be required to complete the installation. There will be no forced reboot, unless you have set this in your device policy settings. Servers will never reboot, regardless of your device policy settings.
New Feature(s) & Enhancements
● Web Shield improvements - Scanning for web threats just got better! Feel safer while browsing the web anytime.
● Remote Access Shield becomes available for Windows servers – manageable from cloud management console in Antivirus service policies.
● Minor enhancements.
Resolved issues and small improvements
● Mail Shield fixed and improved - We fixed the disk writes issue to improve Mail Shield. That way, you're still fully protected from malicious email attachments.
● Fixed conflict with VirtualBox 6.1.32+.
● Fixed multiple detection dialogue for Mail Shield when there are more than two detections at once.
● Fixed issue where it was not possible to boot the OS after AV installation (very old Windows 10 1607 version).
● Several other smaller bug fixes.
