Title: Amazon.com setting off a warning.
Post by: edungarian on August 02, 2022, 08:42:49 AM
bfd20fb4fb1d/2022-08-02T06:40:43.492Z is the code on the alert when a connection is getting aborted on amazon.com, says something about the connection was infected with something called "blacklist" Anyone else getting that hit when they try to visit amazon?

Specifically dr3fr5q4g2ul9.cloudfront.net was aborted because it was infected with URL:Blacklist.

:-\ Yup Having the same thing happen to me. Same exact URL and same message. It doesnt even stop Amazon loading but every time you browse a different page on the website it shows up again. Very annoying

Thank you for letting me know I'm not the only one. I have submitted the link for review to the Avast False Positive reporting service.

Not sure what reporting function you used:
-  Reporting a Possible False Positive File or Website - https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php (https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php).
You should get a response in a day or two.

I've just been using amazon.co.uk without issue, so can't be using the same cloudfront.net source.

Indeed, amazon.co.uk works fine.

Avast False Positive team got back to me and cleared the reputation of the connection in question. Have a good day everyone!

I got the same message on Amazon.ca. Anyone know if that has been cleared?

Have you tried visiting it again.

If not, give it a try, if so and it is still the same, report it.

I visited it again, no issues. I guess it was probably a false positive then?

Looks like a corrected FP.
