Hi,
on the old releases of Avast Business the nag for rebooting due to new agent/or base components version was minizable for hours/days but the new rebootdialog nagging all users of our company every 3 minutes and is not useable in business scenarios like livedemos/focustimes/remotesessions with customers due to the aggressive nagging and repopup of that dialogwindow.
Is there a way around this or a configuration that can be done with the on-premise business console?

Can you point me in the right direction as to where you can change the default dialog behavior in the cloud consol?

What i would like to see in the process of the avast client update is the possibility of the update being done either in a restart or in a normal boot when the user boots up in the next morning/day.
Not always the user does what is asked to do, so if it never does a reboot the client will never update, but if the user do a shutdown in the end of the day and then powerup in the next day in that process the avast client would do/finish the update.

Yesterday I was doing Avast PM with one customers. Initiated the required restarts... they dissapeared after quite some time/the machines got back online.
Anyway I can see a bunch of customers clients with restart required.
I keep an eye on that since this would not be the first time where the hub has a bug that restart messages do not dissapear after they have been correctly executed!

Shutdown and restart are not the same.
Shutdown: In older versions of Windows, Restart and Shut Down did the same thing, closing down programs and powering off the machine. But in Windows 8, 10 and 11, that changed because of a new feature called Fast Startup, which is designed to eliminate what used to be that irritatingly long process of getting your PC up and running
Restart: actually does shut down all of the computer's processes, including the kernel. That means you get a totally clean start when the computer boots up again, though it takes longer to get everything running.

I had this kind of topic a few weeks ago with Jakub from avast...
What I figured out is that from the view of Avast Client either reboot and restart will solve the reboot/restart alert.
This should be still the case...

That seems to be the only thing that works.

I did find a Cloud POLICY setting within General => Restart Options => Restart Automatically => Restart After Logging Out
I'll give it a try, and see if it helps.
