Post by: kellyjon on September 19, 2022, 08:31:38 PM
Hi, under what conditions can the browser block the website?
Sometimes blocks partially, without loading the image.
Thanks!

Hello Kelly,

there are multiple security features implemented in our browser that could prevent loading content if it considered to be dangerous to load.
You can read more about those features here: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/secure-browser-faq/#pc (https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/secure-browser-faq/#pc)

You may have also Privacy Guard set to Strict mode that some content like ads, push notifications, all known and unknown trackers, and fingerprinting. are not loaded, if you experience that problem you can adjust the settings in the PG to be less aggressive in blocking.

To set different mode in Privacy Guard you have to click on Avast Privacy Guard badge icon in the top toolbar (right side) and click on gear icon for its settings, or using a link secure://security-privacy-center/ (http://secure://security-privacy-center/) and open the PG tile in Settings in Security & Privacy Center (SPC).

More about PG modes could be found here: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/29/#privacyguard (https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/29/#privacyguard)

Kind regards,
Josef
