Title: rundll32.exe Flagged as Win32:Malware-gen
Post by: jhehmanice on September 20, 2022, 02:36:58 PM
When I start an application, which has been installed on my PC for over three years, Avast Anti-Exploit Shield identifies C:\WINDOWS\SysWow64\rundll32.exe as being infected with Win32:Malware-gen. When i run a full Avast scan on my PC, it finds no issues. The file itself is has a last write time of March 2021. How do I confirm whether I have an issue or this is a false positive?
