Title: Premium Security is protecting me by keeping me off the internet

I am new to Avast, but I am finding websites and applications won't run with Avast Premium Security active. I have to disable this software to view videos for classes and submit assignments. Not only that, but I have whitelisted my school's website as well as other trusted sites like YouTube and Udemy. This software still aggressively tries to keep me off the internet as a way of protecting me from threats. This is NOT how other antivirus software packages work. I need tips before uninstalling and renewing my subscription with Bitdefender.
