Title: Problems when Avast antivirus is running

When I convert my projects to an executable, they will only run when I deactivate Avast, even though I can run my programs just fine in GMS2 (F5). If I don't do this, the game I'm playing on my PC resets it automatically.
This only lately started happening, and it even occurs when I try to run builds that are months old yet were working well just a few weeks ago.
Even worse, I used a trial exe that was provided by a forum user, and it ran without a hitch even with Avast turned on! I also made a brand-new project with only a few objects on the screen, and it functions just well.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone else who has had this problem.
