Title: pairing?

I installed avast vpn on my nvidia shield android device and used the google play store to download the app. When I open the app it goes to a start pairing option. When I open the option it gives me a number to enter in the desktop version. I am not using a desktop version at this time only android device. So how do I get the the vpn to work in my android tv box?

After you activate an Avast SecureLine VPN (Multi-Device) subscription on your first device, you can use device pairing to activate your subscription on additional devices (including on Android TV).
