Title: Where are my passwords?

I used avast for years, one of the main reasons in the password vault. I formatted my PC yesterday to discover all my passwords gone/ behind paywall? I can't find my password vault anywhere. what can i do?

Hi,

Avast Passwords is a component of Avast Antivirus (Free/Premium). It is not part of Avast One. If you have Avast One installed, you need to uninstall it and install Avast Antivirus.
Next, you should follow this guide to install Avast Passwords https://support.avast.com/article/install-passwords/#pc
If by "format" you mean that you re-installed Windows, Avast Passwords would be on the old partition, and simply re-installing Avast Passwords on the new Windows partion will not bring your Avast Password data back.
