Twitch support told me that the biggest reason I can't login into Twitch.tv is because there is issue with Avast preventing me to log into Twitch website (opera & firefox user here)
When I use my phone, I can successfully log into Twitch (no antivirus). But on my PC with Avast, I can't login at all
Any advice will greatly appreciated!!

It is easy for twitch to assign blame, but somewhat more difficult to actually pin it down.
What Avast program/s and version number are you using ?
Are you getting any error message or alert, etc. ?
If so if you can attach a screenshot or the error message to your next post.
Have you previously been able to use twitch with avast installed ?
If so when did this happen, etc.
Are you using a VPN ?

Avast Premium Security version: 22.10.6038 (build 22.10.7633.752)
It was working fine for 4-5 years, until I couldn't login anymore.. and I could log into my phone and office laptop (BitDefender). But not on my desktop PC
Yes Avast was my first antivirus since 4-5 years ago on same PC. It happened two months ago, and I've patiently waited for Twitch server to fix, but it seems it's more on my side after noticed I can log into my phone..
(see attached file for error)

Unfortunately I don't use twitch.tv so I can't directly check the login function.
Some have reported some issues with Firefox (which is my default browser), not necessarily related to twitch.tv. I don't know if that is related to any different login method or not.
I think this was related to a latest firefox updated and turning off the QUIC/HTTP3 scanning option in the AvastUI > Menu > Settings > Protection > Core Shields > Web Shield (see attached image). Give it a try and report back.

Turning off the Web Shield didn't work, also tried disable anti-virus for 10minutes did not work. It won't let me log in into Twitch to watch. I can log into phone and office laptop.
I've Firefox and Opera, and both doesn't work. And did try Edge, and doesn't login at all.
Message from Twitch Support:
Can you also confirm if you are using Avast Antivirus? We've seen instances where this software was preventing our users to log into their Twitch accounts.
If so, could you please try to disable and log into your Twitch account?

Hi,
There seems to be some problems with twitch lately and it represents 40% of the failures

Thanks Chris..
That is a high percentage of failures, logon 38% and website 10% not good 48%.
As 'RVixen' said even with the Web Shield disabled and then Avast disabled for 10 minutes and he still can't login. Not good, when all twitch can say is its your antivirus :( :o

Twitch support helped me to go into more detail and found a problem on AVAST side
The real problem was Avast Anti-Track for Avast Premium Security
It need to put Twitch.tv as trusted website under anti-track (not under Avast antivirus). Now I could log into Twitch successfully

Thanks for the feedback, I personally don't use the Avast anti-track.
EDIT: I have reported this in the hope of drawing some Avast attention to this.

Hi,
That is the correct solution. https://support.avast.com/article/antitrack-faq/#idt_4600
