I hate GEN (eric) names as they convey nothing, even GEN Digital doesn't convey much.
Presumably they won't try rebranding the individual products within GEN Digital company, that would be lunacy (which doesn't appear to be the case).

BullGuard has become a casualty. BullGuard is no longer for sale and current subscribers are migrating to Norton.

Hi Charyb,
What is this all leading up to and what will the future hold in store for us?
More and more restrictions towards individual end-users maybe?
Hard to predict over 'uneasy' feelings,

Hi!
I think it was an extraordenary deal and it will still need a lot of time to get everything put at the right place. We all should wait and see, what the future will show us. Feelings are displaced here.

Think Big is the right inspirational motto,
There was never a single inventor/developer.
It was always through the cooperation of the many that we made progress.

Hi Bob!
Did you notice the following? My correction of my last post here, the links:
https://www.avast.com/about#pc and
https://newsroom.digital.com ?
From the last one, I made a screenshot of the last part. It declares s.th. but, I guess, we all think what to do with all the questions of the new members, for we are missing some guys (e.g. Asyn).
How about declaration concerning the new members?
;) :)

@=Snake= Sorry but I don't follow what your get at?
Your second link above should be https://newsroom.gendigital.com/

2. Your second link above should be https://newsroom.gendigital.com/
Hi!
Well, are you angry at me? What I meant was:
1: If you saw my correction concerning MDL.
2: The exclamation mark has nothing to do with the second link and I wrote, that I made a screenshot of the last part of 'newsroom'. Is that s.th. you can offer to the new members? I think, only a few members of us really know, what happened to Avast and that the momentarily support of this forum has not the quality of the time before NLL caught Avast! So, what way of declaration is the best?
;)

@ =Snake=
How would it have been possible for Bob to see your correction as according to that post, the edit only occurred Yesterday ???
-
@DavidR
Sorry, but I meant this one (See my attachment, please). We have differennt dates.

The dates are essentially the same as when I took the screenshot it was correctly reported as yesterday. When you posted the date would have been Yesterday the same as my reply was "« Reply #11 on: Yesterday at 16:11:59 »"
That however is irrelevant as the post 26 Dec 2022 or Yesterday post dates the original post, so how could Bob have seen it when he posted on « Reply #5 on: 23 November 2022, 13:23:35 »
Bob hadn't responded to your post as he wouldn't have seen your clarification in « Reply #10 on: Yesterday at 15:00:11 »
That is the problem of making corrections/edits retrospectively after other posts have been made, those people won't have seen the clarification only what was there first.
So now I'm confused, like Bob and possibly yourself.

Which is still over a month after bob's post Reply #5 on: 23 November 2022, 13:23:35 »
I'm not Bob, I guess he has realised the futility of a response, which I have also so I;m done and leave you to talk to yourself.
