I am trying to move my bookmarks from one laptop to another and I use Avast as my browser. I was having issues with the first laptop and then a few weeks ago it crashed and when it came back it was close to factory resets on most things. No bookmarks, history, cache, icons, etc. I used it for 2 more weeks til I got the newer laptop in place. I'm a true crime writer and I must have 200 bookmarks on that original laptop, it's important I find them. I can access files under the /user folders but not everything is there.
Everything under /desktop was, which was where I had everything. I do have admin access. Can anyone help me try to find them? Thanks! Oh, I tried looking under user/Avast/... but that is not a folder there. Maybe I'm not seeing the obvious.
