Title: Minecraft high CPU usage
Post by: Jakub.40 on December 21, 2022, 08:55:12 PM
When launching and playing Minecraft Java edition, it uses around 80% of my CPU and the game is very laggy. Before I purchased official Minecraft, I was playing with T-Launcher and somewhere read that it is a potential malware and will also make Minecraft very laggy if it is not launched from T-Launcher. When I scanned my PC with free Avast antivirus, it detected nothing. That's probably because it can detect the antivirus and it will delete malicious files and after the scan is completed, it will install them back. I am using a laptop with Nvidia GTX 1650 and my CPU is Intel Core i5-9300H, so I don't think it's a hardware problem. Is there any way I can fix it without losing all my data?
