My computer knowledge is very limited - I depend on a grandson for most help.
I started to open a text file in Open Office and Avast gave a warning of an app that would access it's sensitive data and so I deleted it. Now I cannot access Open Office.
How can I reverse this action?
Answers in baby computer talk please :D

Try reinstall open office

Did you really delete it or quarantine it? If the latter, try restoring the file from the quarantine vault.

There is an article on avast website about use of Quarantine, which may aid understanding: https://support.avast.com/en-us/article/Use-Antivirus-Quarantine/#pc
