@ petr.kolacek
I no longer use the Avast beta stream, in fact I now even hold back on Program Updates.

The reason for both of these is I feel that Alpha testing is sadly lacking or how could these get past Alpha testing, much less beta testing and get into the regular program release stream?

Hello David, I agree with you it is far from the ideal state. The first two issues with Bank Mode are being internally discussed so that it will not happen again. Fix for them for 23.2 version (the one publicly available) was released on Tuesday, for 23.3 it went out yesterday as a part of the beta program update.

The second two are not issues that would happen always although the description does not say so.

Regarding your question how can such (and generally other) issues escape from our attention is that sometimes we fail to find them, evaluate their priority properly, fix them properly etc. It is sad, but it happens no matter how hard we try to avoid such things to happen. Other reason is that the environment/context the product is running in and is dependent on is changing all the time. What we tested and worked today, could be broken tomorrow and it is not always fully our fault.

Thank you for your understanding and please accept our apologies or any inconvenience caused. Have a nice day ;) Petr

A tip...For the free version, remove the nagware...It's useless anyway!  8)
Whether a user wants to upgrade to the paid version he does or not regardless of the continuous nagware popups. Indeed many annoyed by these popups also leave the free one ... which in any case is an excellent free AV solution and so you lose users in the cloud ... ;)
Think about that for an upcoming beta... ;)

I'm sure that suggestion has been bade countless times. The nags are still there.
I personally have become blind to them. :)

I did notice that this last update reset all the settings including the personal privacy settings
back to the default settings. Probably why there seem to be more nag screens
Not Nice.
