Checking on data exchanges with websites by your browser - blocking threats and trackers.
Who of you is also using this extension next to Avast Online Security & Privacy?

Not I and I don't use the Avast Online Security & Privacy add-on either.
I think you can get too much in the way of security based add-ons.

Well the avast extension has been in all of my browsers,
as a steady companion I would rather not be without.
How else could I have commented on FP's here? ;D
Where you are absolutely right, is that a minimal amount of extensions,
means a less outstanding identifiable browser configuration.
Probably there just is a basic need for ad- and script-blocking in some way or other.
Only the very lonely will sit and wait for the nexct commercial message. :)
"Go with the flow" is the best policy for the average browser user to stay under the radar for the moment.
Problem with browsers is data slurping, tracking and of cource governmental control and surveillance,
and in the existing heydays of Big Brother overall end user concerns have grown.
Such concerns certainly turned up since the turn of the century.
Good to pause certain analytics in a sense; there LocalCDN extention comes to mind.
But everyone should work his or her or it's browser as to the best of his/her/it's liking,
that should be imminent, parental-control or not.
Stay secure both offline as online as well,

I use AOSP but has been less effective since when you search using google, the icons against search items listed are not distinctive.
They also do not appear at all if you search with DuckDuckGo.
Why is title of this thread referring to "WebWall extension" when asking who is using AOSP. I cannot find any extenson named "WebWall". Maybe I am misunderstanding something.

Wanted to compare it to AOSP, Browser Wall, IDX Privacy etc.
But you are right there is no firefox add-on of that same name.
On this page AOSP blocks 2 trackers, as does Privacy Badger, WebWall blocks 20 data exchanges here.
a bit like Requestly extension can do, but maybe that does it more versatile, but needs user intervention
for Redirect Requests, modify API responses, modify headers, and insert scripts.
With AOSP to get results shown you might have to reload webpages. ;)
