Title: Text message to (wrong) phone number resulted in possible hijack (?) of iPhone

Hello everyone,
Back on Mother’s Day I sent a text message to my daughter. Turned out the number was wrong and I didn’t have her current phone number.  After an exchange of texts apologizing for the wrong number, my sister received a text from my number asking who it was plus a photo I had sent to her is now missing from my phone, along with that series of texts to my sister.  The photo was of a chicken, so it wasn’t important.
How can I scan my iPhone for hacks/malware/spyware? I see nothing in the Avast tools that will scan my phone itself.  I do have the latest iOS update installed.
