Title: Cannot use the free version of Avast

After installing the free version of Avast, I encountered the aforementioned message, which prevented successful installation. Despite attempting to uninstall Avast from my Windows 10 programs, I couldn't locate it. Consequently, I restarted Windows 10 in safe mode and manually removed the Avast.exe file. Subsequently, I made another attempt to install the full free version of Avast; however, I encountered the same error message as mentioned earlier. I'm now uncertain about the next steps to take. Can you provide guidance on what to do next?

You should use the Avast uninstall tool avastclear.exe to fully remove Avast before reinstalling.
