Title: Can't clean
Post by: New_Style_xd on December 31, 2023, 12:14:29 AM
Good evening, What I'm going through is simple, I put it to complete cleaning and the program says it was completely cleaned.

When I run another cleaning program like DISM++ it finds a lot of stuff still in the operating system, the question is? It's cleaning even though I bought the program, it's not doing the things it was supposed to do.

Has anyone been through this, if you don't do the test, use another tool and you will find more dirt on your windows than the avast program should clean completely.

What do you mean by complete cleaning - e.g did you run the avastclear.exe  ?

If not:
Clean Reinstall - 1. - Download the avast! Uninstall Utility, avastclear.exe https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility and save it to your HDD. Make a note of the steps required or print the page.
2. - Download the latest Avast off-line installation file for your Avast Program http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe and save to your HDD.

Follow the instructions in the link in 1.

What you don't give is the information given by DISM++ without information, we would just be speculation and that isn't helpful to anyone trying to help or to you.
Also has you done a system restart before running DISM++ as it may be present on the system settings until after a restart.

Can anyone clean it with this program?
Because I haven't been able to use it for months, the program crashes, doesn't finish, doesn't complete the cleaning. Attached are the images of the program that does not clean.
What do I have to do?

If you don't answer specific questions how is anyone to help you ?

Have you tried what was suggested - e.g did you run the avastclear.exe - and the instructions given ?

Clearly not as you are posting images from the User Interface.
