Title: Hard disk not detected in Avast secure disk
Post by: andrea.cattaneo64 on January 22, 2024, 12:20:51 PM
Hi everyone, the last few days I've been struggling trying to remove a trojan from my pc. Now, I'm no expert, but i usually handle pretty well this kind of problems.
Sadly, when I run the avast security disk on USB (that I created on another pc), it allows me to scan only the USB itself, there's no trace of my files.
I tried to reinstall the security disk, I changed the authorization on my SSD (was it something useful? I don't know, it was a try), and I tried to run the disk on another pc with success.
I have an acer swift 3 and the only thing that pops up when I search online is to try and change the SATA controller to AHCI, something I cannot actually do.
Is anyone with a wise advice on how to make the security disk work?

Thank you in advance!
