Since last week's update Avast Premium Security is blocking access to my WD MyCloud NAS drive.
If I disable Avast firewall everything works, if I turn it back on again access to my drive via explorer or via the WD apps (WD SmartWare, WD quickview) is gone.
I have tried editing the firewall entries for the wd apps (Smareware, quickview and drive service) to allow in/out and also to ask.
It does ASK me if I want access, I say forever but it still blocks.
build 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.827)

Is your WD MyCloud NAS drive linked/considered a public or private connection.
I don't use Avast Premium Security (avast free) and I have no external drives so I don't bump into this situation.
Check your Firewall and Network Protection settings - Avast Menu > Settings > Protection > Network Inspector (is the Device listed in the Monitored list as Public ?
and - Avast Menu > Settings > Protection > Firewall Settings is the Device listed in the Blocked devices list ?.
That said I'm surprised this would come after a relatively minor program update.

The issue is fixed.
during the update my network got defaulted back to an untrusted network
Avast were helpful in the chat.
Avast->protection->firewall ->networks and the NAS has to be on a trusted network.
