Title: Some ftp connections fail

I have a few ftp accounts that fail to connect - others work fine. They are old accounts and have worked for years. I've found that if I turned off the web shield, I can connect to the sites. I've tried two different ftp programs. Both fail to connect to these sites unless I turn off Avast. How do i fix this?

Using Avast Premium Security 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.829)
