Title: Interactive services dialog box in Windows Vista

I have the latest Avast Home version 4.7.1098. Every time Avast updates the virus definitions, Vista displays the "Interactive services dialog detection" saying Avast "can't display a message on my desktop". I have to click "Show me the message" then click on OK in the Avast dialog box and then click "Return now." I'm guessing this is an incompatibility issue. Is there any way around this. It's very annoying. Thanks.
