Title: Avast anti-virus control without mouse???????????????
Post by: daneyul on February 17, 2008, 04:00:26 AM
Alright, this is incredibly frustrating.

Bart didn't pick up on my usb mouse, so I don't have mouse control.  No biggie.  I launch Avast with keyboard commands.

5 hours to scan my disk.  Found viruses.

It tells me to right click to choose the actions---but there's no right click keyboard equivalent.

What the hell do you do to get a right click from the keyboard in the program so you can delete the viruses?

And how do I re-access the virus scan log now that I next-ed out of it?  Or do I have to do the freaking 6 hour scan again??"??

Sheesh. some instructions on the not un-heard of event of not having mouse control after a crash would maybe be a good idea.  For an emergency recovery program, you think?

I don't know if it is the case of your keyboard, but to the right of the right windows button, it's a right-click equivalent.
