Is this a possibla FP ? Avast finds Win32:Nimosw-B in WindowsUpdate.log

I have scanned the file with Virus total and no other scanner finds this ??

what is going on ?

Most probably, a false positive.
Could you send the file to virus@avast.com and inform that avast is detecting it as infected (false positive). Thanks.

If it is a false positive, please send the file in a password protected zip as an attachment in an email to virus@avast.com with the password for the file in the text of the email.  Put false positive/undetected malware in the subject.

I'm not an advast admin, but this is pretty much their standard procedure for false positives.  I figured i would save them some time.

I did a system restore because of other unrelated problems, but avast now does not detect it anymore ...

Most probably, avast updated its virus database and correct the detection.
