Title: System freeze after 10 min

xp pro
celeron 1000 thinges
no problems before install avast 4
any help appreciated
I have read to uninstall other virus program in safe mode, why?

you can't have 2 or more anti-virus programs running together... :)

Except for quite few combinations, shgoh is fully correct?
Which av did you install before?
Why do you not remove if before installing avast? Did you only disable it?
