I use a couple of redundant methods on my machine to make sure nothing gets through: I use a program that calculates CRCs for all pertinent files and that program calls a secondary scanner (never gets called unless there is a suspicious change to a file) to check on the change. In this case, the temporary internet files folder under my profile was found to have the trojan.Isbar virus. I know how to take care of the problem - I just wanted to let you know.

Actually, I should be more specific. The problem was in \Documents and Settings\<name>\Local Settings\Temp

Sent that virus to Avast through the virus chest if you can still do that.
