Title: avast 4.8 and restoration

is is possible tha avast 4.8 self defense module affects system restoratioin ? Because, i tried to restore my system win xp and i could'nt... it quicly said ipossible to load dll.... (i didn't have time to read it). and rebooted and no restoration was done....

Do someone have the same problem ? ???

I'll simulate my restoration now...
I'm experiencing other troubles and I never thought they could have been related to avast ???

I'd say it might be necessary to turn avast! self-protection off first (before starting the restore).

avast! settings / Troubleshooting / Disable avast! self-defence module.
