Title: script viruses

if one only has the home version of avast is this a big deal in respect of infection due to the lack of script
thing from the home edition? what is the real impact of this in reality

The browser extracts the scripts from the page and passes them to Script Blocker. It scans them for viruses and if everything is OK, the browser continues execution. If you use Firefox and NoScript it will 'block' strange scripts (if you set it so).

Tech, does standard shield also offer protection in this case? With script blocker being an extra layer of protection?
