Title: Unable to scan file
Post by: nph24 on April 10, 2008, 06:52:45 PM
When I ran a scan I received a message that a file could not be scanned because a CAB archive was corrupted. The name of the file is listed below. I recently downloaded an update for a new install of MS Office 03 and it seems like this file is from the download.  I wanted to know what I need to do or should I just leave it alone. Thanks

Archive files are 'inert' and can't harm your system.
If anything infected get out of the archive, the resident should detect it.
It could be a problem with the file or the unpacker from avast (that can't recognize the packaging method). Don't worry ;)
