Title: Horray Avast scans faster now :)

The standard scan is back down to about 20 minutes. :) It was 40 before. Was there update to fix this???

I've noticed the same but in my case for Standard Shield. Some 7 megabyte DLL file from AudioBurstFX took few seconds to copy with avast! 4.7 but with avast! 4.8 it takes few miliseconds.
Not sure what changed, maybe Vlk can enlighten me but hey, if everything works fine otherwise i like it.

There is a correction as advertised in the beta thread at the top of the forum in 4.8.1178 beta release.
