Title: Aborting the connection when malware has been found.
Post by: nightshade on April 26, 2008, 05:11:10 AM
If Avast catches a malware web page and the window asks for you to abort the connection am I right in thinking that by clicking on aborting the connection it stops the actual page from downloading to your temp internet files?

In "Silent mode" the "Abort connection" becomes automated, yet the notification of it is still given. This effective and speedy solution is my personal preference. By default this box is not checked under the "Advanced" tab. It is always one of the first things I check after a clean installation of avast.
