Title: 4.8 Pro and Vista 64bit.

I'm trying to run 4.8 pro on a x64 system with 4 gigs of memory.  OS is Vista Ultimate 64bit.  The AV takes forever to start when I right click on the blue ball and choose Start Avast Antivirus.   And sometime it just hangs and the splash screen won't go away.  A scheduled will not start.  Will Avast Pro run on a x64 system with 4 gis or more?

I run Avast! 4.8 Pro on a x64 system vista ultimate sp1 with 4gig of ram and have no problems...

If Avast! doesn't run well on your system there must be a problem...
- Do or did you have any other security programs installed? (antivirus, antispywear, firewall, HIPS,...)
