Title: <CR> instead of <CR><LF> and "noop" with YahooPops!
Post by: Loopy on March 31, 2004, 08:24:48 AM
Greetings all, I've got two problems with my Avast! installation. I use YahooPops to check my e-mail and it usually works with no problem. On occaision,  I sometimes get two commands sent to the YahooPops proxy, so rather than:

RETR 1 <CR><LF>
DELE 1 <CR><LF>
etc.

YP gets this instead:
RETR 1 <CR>
DELE 1 <CR><LF>

And as a result, YP will hang until timed out. Anyone know why? If I bypass Avast, it works fine.

Also, I've recently noticed the command "noop" being used -- which I have never seen used before. Anyone know what this is?
