Title: New Iframe keystrokes hack in IE6, IE7 and IE8 unpatched..
Post by: polonus on July 01, 2008, 02:52:17 PM
Hi malware fighters and users of Internet Explorer 6,7 or 8,

For the moment you'd better advised not to use IE6, IE7 or IE8 because of an unpatched Iframe hole which enable a hacker to save keystrokes. The exploit code has been put online, you can test your browser for this hole here: http://sirdarckcat.blogspot.com/2008/05/ghosts-for-ie8-and-ie75730.html

Hi Damien,
I went to the link you posted but don't see anything to test IE7.

The latest update for IE7 resolved this issue.

The reason IE is high on the browser exposed list is that IE is the most used browser but unfortunately the most un-protected because users do not know how to update their browser or the importance of it and to a lesser extent the inability of pirated Windows to get updates.
