Title: Report file not getting written
Post by: romeonation on April 03, 2004, 10:07:29 AM
Hi

I enabled the option to write reports and chose my documents directory for an .rpt file.

After a test scan of my e:\ drive, I dont find any report file written.

I restarted Avast and again did a test scan of a folder to check if the report file was getting written. No!

Will reports be created only for complete scans?

In the Home version you are not able to work with results and reports.
This is a Pro version feature (Working with tasks: Defining your own antivirus tasks, Working with the task results (actions on infected files) and Storing the scan results (history)).

You can see more information here: http://www.avast.com/i_idt_1018.html

The scan results in the Home version are only available until you reboot or restart your avast protection.
