Title: W32:Netsky-S[Wrm] ?
Post by: dadkins_1 on April 05, 2004, 04:56:00 PM
Just curious, why is todays update showing W32:Netsky-S[Wrm] when the update on 3/31 also shows W32:Netsky-S[Wrm] ?

There were actually two updates on the 31st.
The first contained a string for Netsky.R  BUT incorrectly called this virus Netsky.S. So we released a second update with the name changed (in fact that was the only change in that update).

Today, real Netsky.S hit the road so here it comes for real, in the 0404-2 update...
