Title: Avast not scaning windows live mail help

HI there i have hotmail setup threw my windows live mail for windows xp pro and avast docent seam to scan incoming or outgoing mail how do i fix please thank you.

Just to clarify, you're using a POP3 mail client like Outlook Express 6 to retrieve your mail?

Hotmail in Windows Live Mail is retrieved via a proprietary method of Microsoft's called DeltaSync (it is a special form of http browser access). 

It is not retrieved using the standard POP3 methods that avast is able to scan so Hotmail cannot be scanned in Windows Live Mail.
