Title: Schannel problem, please help

Over the last few days a new error has been logged in my admin events logs called Schannel error code 36881 can anyone help me understand what it is and how to fix it

Event ID: 36881
The certificate received from the remote server has expired. The SSL connection request has failed. The attached data contains the server certificate.

thanks bob3160, can someone summarise in simple terms what it is saying please?

edit: when the article says restart the server does this mean my router as my computer connects directly to it and I have no main server

To find the answer is FREE.  ;) To summarize the information is a little more expensive.  ;D

In it's simplest terms:
Wait a little while or, until the server receives a new certificate, and try again.

You seem to do a lot of worrying about messages that are in your admin. events log.  ??? ???
Is there any reason why you deem this so important?
Most of these situations work themselves out. Usually after a reboot or a full shut down and restart.

I have a few errors in my admin logs and I like to keep things running smoothly, some I cant seem to remedy (although there are probably easy solutions that I'm unaware of) and this one is recent and hasn't gone away even after shut down and its been listed for a few days
