Title: resident protection

hi. i recently converted my FAT32 HDD to NTFS. however after the convertion,  avast asked me to reenter my registration number/license key again (which i did). however it now seems that i can't swith on my resident protection. there's also no "a" logo in my task bar. what should i do? BTW i'm using the free version of AVAST.

Have you rebooted after reentering the key?
That should normally fix the problem...
