Title: avast wont close

i reformated and installed avast,
im am currently unable to close avast now, on my comp before the reformat i was able to
terminate avast through taskmanager, now i cant
how do i disable the self protection or what is causeing,
yes i know my comp will be unprotected but i dont need it protecting for playing games but i do need the resources that avast uses

To temporarily disable the avast self defense module:
1. Right click the 'a' blue icon on system tray.
2. Programs settings > Troubleshooting (tab)
3. Disable self defense module

You should never disable avast while gaming... games should be scanned to avoid infections...

Do you mean the registration key? The demo period is only 60 days...
