Title: cannot scan

4.8 Home. After full scan there is a list of over 100 files that couldn't be scanned. In the past I've seen at most a dozen or so. Suggestions greatly appreciated.

And what files was it? And why couldn't avast scan them? Some security programs password protect it's files, for example Ad-Aware, and as avast don't know the password, avast can't scan the files.

What avast version number are you using, 4.8.1229 is the latest regular release ?

Can you give us some examples of the file names, locations and reason why the files couldn't be scanned.
