Title: failure on update

recently the avast 4.8 pro won't update itself anymore. The last update was on Oct 04
So I downloaded the update from the avast website, but it fails to update and it shows up this box:

Can't install VPS update. Please report following errorcodes:
Ver: 4.8.1229
SI: 0x00000002
ST: 0xFFFFFFFF
LE: 0x00000000

ps. my computer has internet, so i don't think is one of those internet connection problem

Please, post the last 200-250 lines of avast log: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\Setup.log
