Title: Proper way to scan Exchange 2003 using avast

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could fill me in to the proper way of make sure that the exchange database is getting scanned for viruses.

Currently the exchange database is in the exclusions list. I don't know if this is necessary or not. I kinda just walked into this company and they want to make sure that their exchange is properly getting scanned.


The server OS is Windows 2003 server SBS Sp2
and it looks like they are running Avast Server 4.7.
Exchange is version 2003 Sp2

any help here would be great!
