Title: How to auto-delete viruses when recieving pop mail?
Post by: sallam on April 19, 2004, 08:48:20 AM
Hi

Newbie here  :)
I desperately need to know this:
can avast be set so that it automatically deletes all the viruses it finds when checking incoming pop mail?

I recieve tons of infected mail daily, and its a nightmare to have to deal with the 'A Virus Was Found'  window, and the serin sound that I keep hearing all day.

It would be great and a life saver if someone please showed me how to avoid these warnings, and instead set avast to delete these virus-contaminated attachments everytime without asking me, and without warniongs.

I dont see a 'silent mode' in pop options of avast. I don't know what to do?!

Thanks very much in advance  :)
